The borough operates on an annual basis January through December. The following year's budget is approved by December 31st. of the current year. Click here for a copy of the 2010 borough budget.

 

Voting

 

Avalon Borough  is divided into 3 voting districts. District 2 and 3 is further divided into Wards.  District 2 has 2 Wards, District 3 has 3 Wards. Please see your Voters Registration Card for the correct polling location. The Avalon Borough Hall serves as the polling place for all of District 1. The Avalon Library is the polling site for District 2, Ward 1.  District 2, Ward 2 votes at the Epiphany Church. Avalon Elementary serves District 3, Ward 1.  The Greenstone Church is the venue for District 3, Wards 2 and 3. To register, contact Allegheny County Department of Elections at (412) 350-4539.
